First videos of the Ferrari F80 hypercar driving around a race track has surfaced online. The clips give us our first listen to the twin-turbo V-6 powertrain. We prefer the sound of Ferrari’s V-12. Subaru says 83 percent of WRXs sold this year have come equipped with a manual transmission. That’s up from last year, where 79 percent of WRXs sold were delivered with stick shifts. The WRX maintains its status as the car with the highest manual take rate on the market. Don’t count out the manual transmission just yet. Sales of stick-shift cars are on the rise. Data shows 1.7 percent of cars sold last year were manuals—up from just 0.9 percent in 2021. And that number doesn’t seem to be going down any time soon, judging by sales of the WRX.…
The producer of the Lamborghini and Ferrari biopics is working on a new Bugatti film. The film will follow the life of Bugatti founder and CEO, Ettore Bugatti. Filming will take place in France and Italy beginning in 2025, and the movie will be in English. The long-awaited debut took place over the weekend at the Fuji Speedway in Japan during the Mazda Fan Festa 2024.
