As the price for an average new car nears $50,000, it feels like everything on the market is out of reach for most people. That’s why we’re so glad to see Subaru keep pricing for the 2025 Impreza reasonable. The 2025 Subaru Impreza hatchback starts at $24,665 with destination when it hits dealerships later this year. That’s only a $580 increase over last year’s model and nearly half the price of an average new car in 2024. It’s proof the affordable economy car is far from dead. As with last year’s model, the 2025 Impreza hatch is available in three…

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator is priced from $101,990. The Premiere trim has been dropped, making Reserve the new entry-level model. The refreshed SUV reaches dealerships in the spring of 2025. Lincoln quietly slipped pricing for the 2025 Navigator into the company’s online configurator. Perhaps that’s because the least expensive version is an eye-watering $16,730 more than last year. If you want one in your garage, the absolute minimum you’ll pay is $101,990. That includes the $99,995 base price plus the mandatory $1,995 destination charge. What’s with the ginormous price jump? For starters, Lincoln eliminated the entry-level Premiere trim. The Navigator…

If you want to understand modern Ferrari road cars, you have to look back to the F430. You might remember it as the last mid-engine Ferrari with a manual transmission, or simply as the one that came before the mighty 458. But, the F430 presented a new approach to vehicle dynamics, drawing a throughline straight to the new F80. The F430 was the first Ferrari with an electronic rear differential, which could dramatically alter handling characteristics at will. Flicking through the settings on the “Manettino” switch on the steering wheel changed the differential’s locking characteristics, along with the engine’s throttle…

Hyundai’s Rolling Lab series started in 2012. It focused on a mid-engined supercar that sadly never made it to production, despite the fact there were several concepts released throughout the last decade. The automaker’s high-performance N division switched to an electric setup for the RN22e concept revealed in 2022. Now, there’s a new EV—although we’re stretching the definition of what that vehicle represents. At the heart of the RN24 is the same dual-motor setup and battery pack found in the Ioniq 5 N. However, Hyundai’s engineers did away with the rest of the bulky crossover and made a bespoke chassis…

If the Verizon test guy drove a Chevrolet Blazer EV, the answer to his ubiquitous “can you hear me now?” question would be “no.” Several owners have complained about poor phone call quality, and it turns out the cause is actually quite simple: Chevy has discovered that the microphone may have been installed backward in some vehicles. Some Blazer EV owners posted about the problem on Reddit, describing the same basic scenario. When making a call, the driver can hear the person on the other end of the line just fine, but the person they’re talking to can’t hear them.…

Ferrari has never been about volume. In fact, it’s known to artificially limit production. Take for example the Purosangue as the not-an-SUV is capped at 20% of the total annual output. Even in 2023 when Maranello posted record sales, it delivered only 13,663 vehicles. If you’re lucky enough to own a car carrying the Prancing Horse, the exotic Italian marque offers life-long support for your prized possession. Ferrari’s Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer told Australian magazine Drive that the low-volume brand stores documentation for nearly all cars ever built. If need be, Enrico Galliera says Ferrari has the means to build…

Seemingly out of nowhere, there’s a limited-run special edition of the electric Kona in Japan. Hyundai calls it the “Mauna Loa” after the biggest active volcano in the world. Painted in Mirage Green, the small crossover has been turned into a pseudo-offroader with Toyo Open Country all-terrain tires. The chunky rubber measures 205/65 R16 and is combined with matte black wheels supplied by Weds. For better off-road chops, Hyundai installs smaller wheels compared to the regular model’s 17-inch set with 215/60 R17 tires. We’re not entirely sure whether that was the intention but the new wheels seem to mimic bedlock wheels…

Update: CFO/COO Dan Bednarski provided an additional statement to Motor1 regarding the business operations of Radford in the immediate future: “Radford Motors decided to move forward the debt restructuring and filing because of the incompatibility of ownership. We have been to court repeatedly with these civil suits and the judge has cited insufficient evidence for these claims of mismanagement and fraud, repeatedly. The debt restructuring allows us to move forward with changes in ownership in a way that allows us to continue operating our day-to-day business.” Radford Motors debuted its first car in 2021, the lovely Lotus-based Type 62-2. Toyota owners keep their cars the longest, according to a new iSeeCars study. The study evaulated nearly 1 million cars kept by original owners for at least 15 years.
